The KCPTA major activities for the year are as follows:
- Rejuvenation of the Form Parenting/ Mentorship program. Mrs. Hall, one of the Vice Principals, has been asked to lead this process and Hector Daley the 2nd Vice President will assist her.
 Fund Raising - two activities have been planned which we hope will yield some good funding �� the Tag Drive and a Take Out Lunch. While we have not earmarked our fundraising for a particular purpose at this time, the needs are great and some that come readily to mind are:
- Repairs to leaking classrooms
- School Bus
- The Library
- Expansion of the breakfast programme for needy students
Tag Drive
Last year we raised approximately $600,000 and this amount along with    other PTA funds were used to pave the front school yard at Melbourne
Because of the low overheads associated with a Tag Drive, the Executive thought it prudent to re-launch this venture. The drive will run to the end of June and out target is a modest $800,000.
Last year our challenge was getting people involved in selling the tags. With a school population tending toward 1,800 students, support was received from approximately 200 parents. So the appeal this time around is for everyone to get on board.
The price of the tags remains unchanged at $100 per tag.
Take ��Out Lunch
This is scheduled for Friday, April 25, and we believe if we have the full support of the school family - both current and past �� we should to make a meaningful profit.
The cost of the tickets is $400 each.
